Women Empowerment Cell

Women empowerment could be achieved through social, educational, economic, political, and psychological empowerment. Women’s literacy is critical for improving family health, nutrition, and education and enabling women to participate in decision-making in society. The United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women recognised ensuring women’s access to quality education as a strategic objective. It emphasised that equal access to and achievement of educational credentials is vital if more womenbecome change agents.

Women Empowerment Cell is formed in the Institution to strengthen women’s influence over the strategic life decisions that impact them and access opportunities to realise their potential fully. Women Empowerment is the advancement of women and their acceptance and inclusion in decision-making processes. It also entails equal growth and development chances and eliminating gender discrimination. The Cell recognises that learning, labour, and leadership are the three pillars of women empowerment. Learning and education help women get limitless knowledge, which helps them broaden their thoughts. It helps women to overcome adversities.
