Welcome to CSSR & SRRM Degree College

The CSSR & SRRM Degree & PG College was founded on June 27, 1992, by the CSSR & SRR Educational Society in Kamalapuram, a tiny town in the undeveloped Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh’s Cuddapah District. The Educational Society’s mission is to provide rural people, especially women from underprivileged backgrounds, with a high-quality education that will empower them with knowledge and make them employable and entrepreneurial. Until 2010, the Institution was affiliated with Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi. As new universities are created in Andhra Pradesh, the Institution is permanently affiliated with Yogi Vemana University, Kadapa. The Institution embraces the philosophy of the National Education Policy to continue providing and imparting further sustained highest quality education. The National Education Policy envisions an education system rooted in Indian culture that contributes to India’s transformation into an egalitarian and vibrant knowledge society by delivering high-quality education to everyone, thereby developing India into as a worldwide knowledge giant. The Policy visualizes that the curriculum and pedagogy must instil in students a deep respect for the Fundamental Duties and Constitutional values, patriotism, and an understanding of their duties and responsibilities in an ever-changing global world. The Policy strives to instil national pride in learners’ thinking, spirit, intellect, and actions and build knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes that support human rights, sustainable development, and a genuine global citizen. The Institution is preparing to adopt the holistic and multidisciplinary approach of the new National Education Policy, which empowers students by digitising and streamlining the teaching-learning process, accepting autonomy, providing open learning facilities, and developing new methods for providing professional education.
